You’re One With The Lord

“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”
(1Corinthians 6:17)
Being born again is more than merely becoming a follower or a disciple
of Jesus Christ. It is coming into union with Christ: that’s the big
thing about our salvation—our oneness with the Lord. When you were born
again, not only was your spirit recreated, you were also immersed into
Christ; you became one with the Lord! You were literally joined together
with Him as one indivisible entity!
The Bible says, “For
by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or
Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink
into one Spirit”
(1 Corinthians 12:13). You’ve been made to drink into one Spirit; you’ve
become inter-mingled with the Spirit of God as one divine creation.
You’re not one who’s struggling to attain to God’s level—you’re already
one with Him. This is the reason everything you get involved with ought
to succeed. Sickness, disease and infirmity shouldn’t have place in your
body, and satan shouldn’t be a factor to you anymore, for you were born
with the superior life of God in your spirit. Everywhere you go, you
ought to manifest the glory and perfections of God, for you’re one with
Him. In Him you live, and move and have your being.
Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for recreating me in Christ Jesus and
making me one with your Spirit. By your Spirit, I’ve been immersed into
Christ; I live in you, and you live in me, thus making us one divine
creation. Consequently, I exhibit your character, qualities, grace and
excellence, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
