Have Your Own Experience

As I
said before, I never felt so dull, listless, and unspiritual in all my
life as I ministered to this couple! If I had been going by feelings, I
would have said, "No, I can't pray. There's no use in me praying."
But, thank God, I know the Word. The Word of God works.
The husband said, "Ever since we heard you on the radio, we've been
praying every night that if it is God's will to heal my wife, God would
give us faith so that she can be healed." Well, that prayer is
unscriptural.
If you'll learn to locate people and move them into a position to
receive, you'll get results. I located this couple by what he said. I
had already proven by giving scriptures on the radio broadcast that it
was God's will to heal her and everyone else that is sick. But they
hadn't quite caught that.
Now another thing was that the husband was doing all the talking. That
is something that hinders many people. You can't speak for another
person.
For example, you can't get your wife healed because you believe in
divine healing. Her unbelief can nullify the effect of your faith.
Also, you can't ride someone else's coattail. You can't get healed
because someone else believes in divine healing. What do you believe
about it? Sooner or later, you're going to have to have an experience of
your own.
Confession: I search the Scriptures to discover for myself what the
Bible says about healing. I choose to believe what the Bible says. I
choose to believe that healing is for me now.
