Healing: God's Will
By Rev.
Kenneth E. Hagin
"For
I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him
that sent me" (John 6:38).
Healing the sick is God's will.
Yet Christians who need healing have said to me, "Maybe God put this
sickness on me for some purpose."
Did Jesus ever put sickness on anyone? When people came to Jesus for
healing, did He ever turn even one away, saying, "No, it's not My will.
Just suffer a little longer. Wait until your piety gets deepened
enough?" No! Not once!
Do you want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus. Do you want to see
God at work? Look at Jesus! Did Jesus go about making people sick? No!
He went about doing good and healing (Acts 10:38).
Do you want to know the will of God? Look at Jesus. Jesus is the will of
God in action.
We can pray for healing with great confidence - knowing it is the will
of God!
Confession: When I pray concerning healing, I know that I pray
according to God's will. It is God's will that we have what Jesus bought
for us. Therefore, I am confident that God hears me. And since I know
that God hears me, I know that I have the petition I desire of Him. And
I thank Him for it!
