How
Do You Know Jesus Took Your Infirmities?
By Rev.
Kenneth E. Hagin
That
it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. (Matt. 8:17)
God
wants you to know that Jesus took your infirmities and bare your
sicknesses. Some people say, "But I didn't see Him do it." Even those
who were there when Jesus died didn't see Him take our diseases and
sicknesses. They saw Jesus physically die, but they couldn't see what
happened to Him spiritually.
Natural human knowledge can't comprehend what Jesus did. That kind of
knowledge is beyond natural human truth. You could never prove from
natural human truth that your diseases and sicknesses were laid on
Jesus. Because you can't see it with your eyes, you have no
comprehension of it from the natural standpoint.
So how do you know that He took your infirmities? Even though it doesn't
look like He took them because you still have symptoms in your body, it
is revealed to you in the Holy Word of God. That's how you know it; you
believe God's Word.
That revelation knowledge is the knowledge that you are to walk by, not
natural human knowledge. The revelation of the truth that Jesus took
your infirmities is the truth that a Christian is to live by.
Confession For it is written, Himself, Jesus, took my infirmities
and bare my sicknesses. What He bore, I need not bear. Because He bore
them, I'm free from sickness and disease. I know that this is true
because I believe the Word.
