Meditating and Speaking Bring the Blessings
By
Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt
meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Josh. 1:8)
The following is a word from the Lord that I received many years
ago, but its truth is eternal; it applies to all of us everywhere,
even today: Take heed; listen very carefully.
For
right here is where man primarily fails. All failure in the Christian
life can be found in what is being said at this very moment. Listen
carefully; listen with an open mind.
Receive it with a receptive heart. Meditate upon it, until the truth
of it you'll find. And then, speaking [it] forth out of your heart
will cause all that's Mine to become thine.
For many of My own children who are very sincere and honest, and even
seeking to find, do not find, because they do not meditate in My Word
and listen attentively to that which is said, nor [do they] continue
to read My Word.
But meditating upon My Word-receiving it into your spirit and
confessing, "It's mine!"-shall surely bring the blessings every single
time.
Confession I take heed to the Word of God. I attend to the Word of
God. I receive it with an open mind and an open heart. I meditate on
the Word and speak forth out of my heart, "It's mine!"
